determine image size and upload a profile image
Steps to determine the size of an image PC and Mac . There are several free photo editing software applications. http://www.gimp.org and http://photoshop.com are two examples.
Locate your image on your local computer.
Activate the Information dialogue box by right clicking on the image
Scroll down to properties and click on properties.
Locate the image file size. Your image must be smaller than 700 KB
Upload an image to your Twitter profile using a Windows PC
Locate the image that you want to use. It may be in my documents my pictures or in this case on the desktop.
Determine the size of your image file - Mac
Use the 'get info' command to find the size of your image file. Right click on the image and select get info.
Get info screen will show the image size.
